Jamie Bryant Robbins, 39, of Burlington, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at his home in Burlington.

Born January 15, 1979, in Burlington, he was the son of Chris Eugene and Charlene Rae Rice Robbins. On September 13, 2003, he married Nicole A. Wiberg in Biggsville, IL.

He worked for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad as a trainmaster.

He enjoyed hunting, water skiing, and boating. He was a fan of all sports, particularly golf. He was a Burlington City Champ three times. He loved his children and spending time with them.

Survivors include his wife, Nicole Robbins of Burlington; one son, Evan Robbins, and two daughters, Laina Robbins and Avery Robbins, of Burlington; his parents, Chris and Charlene, of Biggsville, IL; one brother, Chad Kenneth (Marnie) Robbins of Lantana, TX; one sister, Jennifer “Jen” Rae (Tony) Starr of Mount Pleasant; four nieces, McKenna Carlson, Emma and Myah Starr and Harper Robbins and one nephew, Aiden Wiberg; maternal grandmother, Donna Rice of Biggsville, IL; many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his mother and father-in-law, John and Debra Wiberg of Burlington.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Chester and Betty Robbins, and his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Rice.

Family will receive friends Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.

The funeral service for Jamie will be 11:00 AM Monday, April 9, 2018, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Reverend Melisa Bracht-Wagner officiating and Rev. Travis J. Shafer co-officiating. Burial will be in Biggsville Cemetery.

Memorials have been established for Evan, Laina and Avery’s education.
